Expressing my opinion about Importing resources.

Korean government should invest at the alternative resources. My suggestion is supported by three reasons. 

First, As Korea is not oil-producing country, It is necessary to import the resources. The percentage of Imported resources remarks about 64.7% last year. There are some risks when the percentage of Imported resources is such high. And major resources like unique minerals are imported from other countries. These minerals are important because it can maintain the high-tech industry such as semi-conductor.

Second, Conventional resources like petroleum and natural gas are limited and depleted soon. Output of oil and natural gas have been decreased for several years and those decreased yield can make their price risen. Other resources are also in a danger of exhaustion. However, Alternative resources such as Shale gas & coalbed methane are enough to be supplied about a hundred years.

Last, Alternative resources can save lots of money for decades. The technology for developing shale gas & coalbed methane is grown dramatically. As these resources are cheaper than conventional resources, they can be a competitive power of our country. 

It is hard to change the source of energy abruptly, but we should accept the change of resources more earlier than other countries. I think who reacted first can get more rewards.
