My group's final project is interview with foreign professors.
Actually students of Hanyang University have not many chance to communicate with foreign professors. However, to be a person who keeps global talents, these communication will be very helpful. So we decided to interview with foreign professors. And our MEW class's beautiful professor Jessica Warren and professor Mark Mcshea who is gentleman from United Kingdom help us. We chose several questions that how foreign professors think about this situation. And also we asked some personal questions like 'the impression of korea.', 'future plan in korea.' and so on. This project needs some roles like camera shooting, casting interviewees, preparing question sheet, and so on. And my role of this project is interviewing. New type of
Gambling: Sports betting
There are many kind of lottery. For example, lotto is a game which
you can win when you predict precisely 6 numbers of 45 numbers. But its ratio
of winning number is too low to win, and it is just depends on the luck. Here
is new kind of Gambling.
Sports betting is the
activity of predicting sports results and placing a wager on the outcome. It is
generally considered to be a form of gambling. It is different from other
lottery that it is not just depends on the luck. You can analyze the recent
plays and even you can cheer the team you hope to win. Proto is a kind of
sports betting which is sold lawfully from Korean company ‘toto’. This is the only company which sells
sports betting lottery in Korea.
As a customer-selecting sports game, Proto runs a
high probability to win, so anyone can have a fun. Its payout is calculated by
multiplying betting amounts with a pre-disclosed payout ratio and players can
select sports game events they want to bet.
There are two types of proto.
First one is Long list.
Select sports events to play and predict &
decide winning probability, win, even, and losing of the game event based on
the official score of a match as adjusted by the applicable handicap(only
predict win or lose for basketball and baseball).
Second one is Winner list.
Predict game records based on various standards
such as winner sports events, winner, correct score, and first scorer, etc.

First, You can get a chance to earn money. As the
Proto is such a game with money, you can get a money following amounts of your
betting money. Of course you can lose your money if your prediction is wrong,
but you can earn plenty of money if it is right!

Second You can have more fun to watch sports game. Imagine that you
can get lots of money if the team you like score just one point! How exciting
it is!
Last It is Easy to access. You can easily find a convenience stores
which are selling Proto. If all your prediction is correct, you just can get a
winning money where you buy it.
Bad points
First you can be addicted easily to this game. As this game is a
kind of gambling, It has addictive qualities.
Second you can lose plenty of money from this game. As this game has
no limitation of betting money, you can lose your money a lot.
Last Sports athletes can operate the game with their intention. Each
sports game’s results is depends on the sports
athletes who are playing. So they can handle the game’s results for their personal profit. Government illegal the Match
fixing to maintain fair play on sports games.

Proper
betting, Better Life
In my opinion, It is good to enjoy Proto but you should control
yourself. Because the addiction of Proto can take many things from you. My
opinion is supported by some reasons.
First, There are no limitation of betting money. You can bet
100,000\ at one time but there are no limit of number you can bet the game. So
If you can't not refrain from betting you can lots of money.
Second, It has a power of destroy your life. It takes not only money
from you, but also many other things. In the statistics, 4.6% of adults have
gambling addiction and
they are not able to sustain their own work. It leads them to feel
depression and a sense of shame, and it can let them to decide a terrible
decision.

Third, There are many other illegal sports batting game. Government
insistently clamp down to illegal sports betting sites. But it is easy for
gambler to access them, gamblers can easily commit a crime. The punishment of
that crime sentences at least 5 years in prison or penalty of 50,000,000 won.
As proto is a kind of sports, It can help you healthier and happier,
but you have to remind that it is also kind of gambling.

Korean government should invest at the alternative resources. My suggestion is supported by three reasons.
First, As Korea is not oil-producing country, It is necessary to import the resources. The percentage of Imported resources remarks about 64.7% last year. There are some risks when the percentage of Imported resources is such high. And major resources like unique minerals are imported from other countries. These minerals are important because it can maintain the high-tech industry such as semi-conductor.
Second, Conventional resources like petroleum and natural gas are limited and depleted soon. Output of oil and natural gas have been decreased for several years and those decreased yield can make their price risen. Other resources are also in a danger of exhaustion. However, Alternative resources such as Shale gas & coalbed methane are enough to be supplied about a hundred years.
Last, Alternative resources can save lots of money for decades. The technology for developing shale gas & coalbed methane is grown dramatically. As these resources are cheaper than conventional resources, they can be a competitive power of our country.
It is hard to change the source of energy abruptly, but we should accept the change of resources more earlier than other countries. I think who reacted first can get more rewards. You can get more information from these sites. Thanks.
Hello everyone! At this post, I will introduce you my hobbies. I have lots of fun of leisure activities. First, I love to ride a bicycle. As Korea has four seasons, if it is not mid-winter or mid-summer, It is excellent to ride a bicycle whenever. There are some options when you choose your own bicycle. My last hobby is to hike a mountain. The air on the mountain is so fresh and I can feel confidence and a sense of accomplishment when I reach a top of the mountain. I can't forget when I reach a top of Mt.halla which is the highest mountain in South Korea last year.
